Oh how I will miss these days.

Woke up too tired whatever that means. Put on two pairs of tights, a leo, and cover up whatevs, the usual. Danced and felt some satisfaction as if “it were my last” cliche and all, it works. Aching bod. Took my time getting home. Bought some oj, drank straight from the carton, drank a lot. Ate some good things, some bad, not a real lunch. Napped until I woke up feeling like it was tmrw. Did some other thangs. Ramen for dinner. And yeah.

It’s like I’m living another life; some alternate, dream, idk life that still meshes with reality.

I can already see myself telling this story many years from now.

Ok not this story exact, even though it is great, but the overall year. Moving to NY all alone, only 17 almost 18 years old, to dance….

No friggen thank you. And why do people think I’m Japanese…? Good thing I don’t like ‘black people with dreadlocks’ and was meeting my boyfriend. Obviously my name was Melody.

This is Vladimir of the Dominican Republic. Studying medicine. Leaving the states in two days to go back to his country, but only to plan to come back forever. Truly passionate and in love with..here.

I know, I’m a creep for taking this but ! Could have easily tuned out this lost boy assuming he’d be like the many pigs I’ve encountered here.

It amazes me how many people (still) dream about simply living in the states permanently. I really try to not take anything for granted but for it being as little as being an American…yeah
